- RAGMATE products are currently made by 23 female employees
- As many women are hired as is possible, so your purchase will directly impact the women employed
DISTINCTIVE, HANDMADE QUALITY
Manufacture of the RAGMATE rugs is by hand and takes place in Turkey near the Syrian border. Every rug is a unique work of art. Rug colours have been carefully chosen and the patterns are individually considered so the colours and motifs form a harmonious entity. The creators of the rugs design the patterns themselves, giving significance to the work and bestowing the rug with a special meaning of its own.
RAGMATE rugs are produced using the excess fabric from the textile industry. Materials are purchased from partners in Turkey. This way transport emissions are also reduced.
