  1. Purpose for processing personal data

Personal data collected, processed and used with the customer’s consent by Ragmate Design Oy is for customer relationship management and communication with customers. The information in the database (register) is primarily used to send the customers newsletters, special offers and benefits. In addition, the database can be used for statistical analysis and service development purposes.

  1. Data contained in the register

The personal data collected and processed by Ragmate Design Ltd., and contained in the Ragmate-Customer Database, is obtained via the customer agent. The source of the data for the register is the customer and is collected whilst they are connected. The data is collected via the website as well as through various forms.

The register data includes the first and last names, address, telephone number, email address, and permission or refusal for their use in direct email and telephone marketing

  1. Regulated data

The register’s data source is information provided the customer, which is collected when joining the Ragmate Customer database.

  1. Regulated data supply and data transmission outside the EU or European Economic Area

Ragmate Design Oy will not disclose information to a third party. If a third party offers a benefit to the customers of the database, and requires delivery of this benefit to the customer, the information will be provided only for this purpose and the third party may not disclose this data any further. Data may be transferred outside the EU or European Economic Area according to the Personal Data Act.

  1. Protection of registered data

Registered data is properly stored on a secure server and is only available to the predefined users of Ragmate Design Ltd.

  1. Rights of registered individuals

A registered individual has the right to deny the controller of the register the permission to process any personal information concerning the registered individual, for direct mails, online selling, or other direct marketing as well as marketing and opinion polls, personal registering or genealogy research. The refusal or removal must be made in writing and addressed to the person responsible for the database register.

  1. Right of inspection by registered individuals

A registered individual has the right to inspect what information has been stored about them in the register. The request must be made in writing, signed and addressed to the person responsible for the database register (see contact details mentioned in 2).

  1. Correcting information

The person responsible for the database register should correct, remove or supplement any unauthorised, unnecessary, defective or obsolete personal information contained in the register for the purpose of processing, either by his or her own initiative or at the request of the registered individual. A registered individual should contact the person responsible for the database register to correct the information.
