GUIDELINES FOR CARE
Rugs rarely need washing in water. Careful and regular vacuuming of rugs is recommended. Ventilate outdoors during dry weather in the shade but first vacuum so that dust doesn’t cling with humidity to the fabric. Do not shake. Avoid direct sunlight. If you follow these guidelines for care then your rug will have a long life of use. Regular vacuuming and airing of rugs extends the interval period between washing.
Sometimes the fabric can come loose. This is, to a certain extent, normal. If a piece of fabric does come loose, turn the rug over, find the gap and knot the fabric into the backing.
Check the temperature for washing and follow the products washing instructions. Please note the weight of the product and follow the weight limitations of your washing machine. Make sure the product fits inside the drum without problems. Use a mild, bleach-free detergent.
We recommend using a laundry service because of the weight of the product. Select a gentle wash at 40 degrees or an emulsion wash at 30 degrees. Malleable when wet. Dry flat in a drying room. Fluff the product with your hands until it is dry to touch. Drying times vary greatly depending on the product. Don’t iron and do not bleach.
Keep the rug in a clean, dry and ventilated place at room temperature. Make sure the rug is dry before placing into storage.
